The Next Step

My first year of the Genesis Master of Events internship took a lot of perseverance. There were a lot of times I just wanted to give up. There were many late nights and a lot of hard labor, but seeing the bride, groom, and all of the guests have an amazing time was extremely rewarding and made all efforts spent worthwhile.

While there were a lot of lessons learned, and I feel so much more confident in my abilities, I recognize that I don’t know everything about event planning. This is part of the reason I am so excited about being asked back for the second year internship at Genesis Master of Events. I am so ready to face new challenges and gain even more insight into the world of event planning. Event planning is not just a passion of mine, it is an obsession; I love it!
