DIY Rope Letters

These letters are a fun, fast and a super easy way to add a touch of personalization to any occasion.

Supplies needed

· Rope or Jute
· 4 oz. white school glue
· ½ cup of corn starch
· ¼ cup of warm water
· Wax paper
· Medium bowl
· Scissors

Step 1: Mix together water, corn starch and glue in a medium size bowl. Make sure to mix well to get all the clumps out.

Step 2: Lay a piece of wax paper on a flat surface.

Step 3: Dip the rope or jute into the glue mixture until it is completely saturated. Run your fingers over the jute to remove excess mix.

Step 4: Lay your piece of rope or jute on the wax paper and begin to form your letter. Press down firmly on all overlapped areas.

Step 5: Once you have completed your letters, lay them flat to dry for at least 12 hours.
